Stay-In-Touch (SIT) is a clearly structured conversation framework that supports people in staying in respectful, well-grounded dialogue on equal footing \u2013 even when perspectives differ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The focus is not on asserting one\u2019s own opinion, but on jointly examining, understanding, and reflecting on topics, guided by mutual respect and personal responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why a new conversation format?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, many spaces for open and nuanced dialogue have disappeared or become severely limited. Exchange increasingly takes place in closed groups where similar views dominate and other perspectives are rarely encountered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is often missing is factual, thoughtful dialogue within a heterogeneous group \u2013 a shared reflection on a topic in which differing viewpoints are not seen as a threat, but as an enrichment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay-In-Touch emerged from the desire to create spaces again where exactly this kind of exchange is possible: calm, structured, and grounded in mutual appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a SIT round?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A SIT round is a moderated conversation circle of up to six participants. Each round is centered on a shared topic, introduced by a person who prepares it in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This topic is prepared using clearly identified sources \u2013 for example, a text, an article, a video, or another suitable basis for discussion. All participants submit their own questions beforehand, which are then addressed collectively during the conversation based on the topic holder\u2019s preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SIT is neither a debate format nor a contest of opinions. Its aim is to make different viewpoints visible, examine them together, and derive personal as well as shared insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shared commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each SIT round begins with a shared commitment. It describes the fundamental attitude that all participants adopt for the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
